yes, it has spark. i took a plug out and was able to get it to spark on the valve cover. when i pump gas into the carb, using the lever on the right hand side of the TQ carb i can hear it pump gas into the carb, (squirting sound) when i do that 7-10 times, the car will start, but i have to carfully press the gas peddle to keep it going. this is my second tank of gas since i got the gas tank clean and the new gas lines. i'm sure the carb is dried out and i check the fuel filter and it didn't seem obstructed.

If you have not rebuilt a Thermoquad that has sat for a while it will need it.... I've had T/Qs for years & they do not store well..... Also make sure the choke pull off is working, that's the diaphragm that connects to vacuum on the rear passenger side of the carb.

Easier.$$$$$..is all that takes.  I've done it several times usually successfully... $25-kit and a few hours & you can do.

i broke down and to the cuda to a pro. i finally got it running and limped it down to the local garage. it ran hot all the way down there and almost stalled at every stoplight i came to. I'm not sure what the problem is.
