Comments about CC.com sponsors.......
« on: February 28, 2011 - 08:50:58 PM »
Hey guys,

Just a few more comments about site sponsors.  I'm very excited about another new company to be announced (one you all know) joining our site that will be sponsoring one of the boards.  Stay tuned.

But I thought this would be a good time to share our thoughts on this topic.  We will never be one of those sites that look like a garbage dump with the crap all over it.  We want to keep it clean and classy and pertinent.  We will limit our number of advertisers to maybe only a very few more than we have now, depending on the placement.  Our foremost thought when allowing a sponsor is that it is a company that we believe you all wish to do business with......the key players.  Of course we also love to help our members with the smaller business's, but the one's so fundamental to our hobby....and we know you love supporting them.  Also, and very important, I'm working on a few promotions where these companies give us a product or gift certificate to give away.  Money is tight at present so it's tough but I promise to continue trying...I'm in several dialogues right now.  We strive to have our sponsors as true community members in this sense.

If you guys have any ideas for sponsors you'd like us to try to form a relationship with please private me and let me know.  If any of our current sponsors have not yet had the "promotion conversation" with me but would like to do this please let me know, we would love it.

I will also take this opportunity to thank all of our current sponsors once again.......YearOne, Eastwood, Roseville, Nick's Classic Parts, Restorations by Julius, JS Restorations, and PASSION4MOPARS....what a great line-up.......thanks guys, you are hero's to us for the support of our site and our hobby!!!

And lastly, if you are a potential advertiser we would welcome a discussion with you.  You may private me here or at rossolney@hotmail.com or 818-442-4289.

There is no other place in the world like Cuda-Challenger.com    The members here have helped me more than words will ever say.  I'd like to thank you for what you're doing. The site is better than ever! All the sponsors and group buys.Cody's deal... Not to mention all the other discounts and custom stuff. Just goes to show. This website is unmatched.IMO.   It's family. Sure we don't always agree. But there's not too much trash talkn' going on. It's about the cars.  All about the cars...   And helping others.

I'd also like to thank all our sponsors... It's never easy out there,Especially now. We need you guys!!!

Thanks for the shoutout buddy.  69ChargerRT and I have been working very hard to maintain and grow exactly what you and the other guys are talking about.....the union of cars/vendors/chat/info/buddies/discounts.  It's great to hear from those of you who truly understand the behind-the-scenes effort.  Even the simple forum-look changes you guys asked for and that we implemented about a week ago were 10's of hours between both of us staring at hundreds of lines of bizarre code to find how to make these improvements.  Not asking for any sympathy, we into it, but it may help those to understand how we may be sensitive to certain repeated comments about the site (discussion going on elsewhere...hmmmm).

And keep in mind with regard to the vendors that I am always looking for ways they can contribute directly to you guys, like the Eastwood contest going on right now where one of you will walk away with a HotCoat Powder Coating system.
