Oh Yea!!!! Scored some tickets.....
« on: March 25, 2011 - 06:41:07 PM »
Hey guys.

I am dog gone excited now....the wife called me at work today and ask me if I want to go see

FOREIGNER, NIGHT RANGER, and JOURNEY live in concert (together) in August here in Indiana at the Verizon Center.

I said HELL YEA!!!!   :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: :jumping: :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo: :woo:

Man those are some the groups I grew up with in the 70's, 80's, and on into the 90's.

On a personal note......I don't want her to know....but I think she is a keeper!!!!!........even after 16 years of marriage....shhhhh dont tell her I said that, it will ruin my image with her.

WOOOOOOHOOOOOO

Nice!  I had the pleasure to go see Journey, Heart and Cheap Trick a couple years ago.  Even after all the lineup changes they still rock!
Yes I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger Convertible T/A S/E with a 440 Six Pak. Can it get any more wrong?

I cant wait......

I have seen Foreigner now probably 3 times (once while Lou Grahm was still with them) and 2 times since they split and reformed.  I have seen Journey once (never with Steve Perry) and this will be a first for Night Ranger.   :ylsuper:

I cant wait.......

Super Blue 72,

The last time Steve Perry performed with Journey was in 1991 at tribute concert.  He again got together with the group in 1995 and recorded a couple of songs.  They tried to make plans for a tour but Steve injured his hip in Hawaii in 1997 which required a hip replacement surgery that he refused/put off for a long time.  The injury prevented him from touring.

I seen Journey a few years back and I will tell you this....if you went into the concert blind folded you WOULD NOT know that Steve Perry was not on stage....that is how good the new lead singer sounds like him.

Later....
