440 Aluminum Radiator with Passenger Side Outlet
« on: March 25, 2011 - 12:36:25 PM »
Anybody know who makes an aftermarket aluminum radiator for a 440 with the bottom outlet on the passenger side?  Somebody makes one cuz thats what I have now.  Wanting a fresh new one though.  The one I have now the filler cap is in the middle, top/inlet is on the drivers side and bottom/outlet is on the passenger side.  Anyone know where I can get one just like that?

Try looking for a heavy duty small block radiator?  My 440 had the C-body water pump housing when I first installed it.  The lower port is on the passenger side.  I reused the 3 core 340 radiator I already had because the hoses lined up.  It fit fine and worked reasonably well for a 30+ year old junk radiator. Or maybe switch to the MP aluminum housing that puts the lower port on the drivers side.
Yes I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger Convertible T/A S/E with a 440 Six Pak. Can it get any more wrong?
