Hey Bill, I assume those straps were paint separatly on the 71+ cars when the boosters were plated?(not painted)   Or were they left bare?

Yes painted as an assy with the booster / master cylinder assy in 1970

The 2 original samples I have here are both natural with absolutley no signs of paint on them anywhere. and they are both just a rust finish. so I honestly don't know if they are or were plated in some fashion.  My samples are both off of 1971 cars
