   U cheated u saw i once owned a chey w/corvett eng.  forty lashes.  That is a neat 37 Chev.. Can't stand the shoe box(fiberglass coupes. Good luck on the bidding. I'm sure we all owned more than just a mopar.

  Didn't cheat. I didn't know weather that was your engine or not. I did know the bel airs were available with that engine, guessed on the vette. I now see that it is in your signature.

I cringe everytime I see guys driving without air cleaners.
I was tuning the carbs 0n my 57 Bel Air and the car ran like crap.
Took a compression test and the #5 cyl was bad.
Pulled the head, valves and cyl wall look ok.
 Found a Small piece of hood insulation sucked into carb.
Pounded in between valve and seat..
