I'm not going to offer a color as that decision should be left to you alone. You have to pay for it and also look at it daily. You need to pick a color that you like, NOT others. Just my .02 worth! Whatever you choose will be great.

Im the one doing the work, this IS a topic fot what YOU guys like. Im trying to see what colors are in and which ones could be. So no copping out, pic a color.

Red is a power color.  Nothing beats it; Never goes out of style.    Black is a way of life to keep nice. I'd stay away from it.  Purple is cool,But metal flake can make for irregularities of not done right. My Duster is about to be purple.
Are you considering a stripe? Which one?      If it was my choice I'd go red.   That's just me though.    What about white?   Can't throw a stick without hitting a purple car.  Go Sublime! it hides a lot!     err ya'   whateva'  :dunno:

Ya' color choice it tough...

I'd go with black.  Incase you wanted it a different color later on the black that you couldn't mask off would not stand out as much as if you painted it, say orange.

My wife has a Dakota she ordered in Amber Fire, sort of a metallic copper color. I have seen a similar color on some late model GM's and Ford's. Stands out in a crowd.

If it was my car, it would be Red, something with a fair amount of metallic sparkle to it, but a bright(not maroon or burgundy) Red. You don't drive an E-body to blend in.

For the '72-'74 Challengers, more so the Rallye cars with the strobes, I like black with red strobes.

This one is probably my favorite pic...

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

I would go B5 Blue with a black vt & Rallye Stripes along with a Black hood decale like the one I use to have.  Too bad he is going to have more into it than what it will be worth (but it's just a hobby/passion---- Right)!
