When you spray it, you need to let it flash for a while before you put on a second coat. This paint stands up.

Also put 3 ball bearings in the gun almost marble sized. You have to keep the paint well agitated before applying each coat. I would advise a trial run on something else first until you get the feel on how the paint is laying out. Then once you feel sure, go for it!

Thanks AAR just left Year Ones site . I'll probably go with them . It kills me to pay $100.00 for a 1/2 pint ($1600.00 per gallon ) but what you going to do ? Just gald a 1/2 pint will be plenty .  :clapping: :clapping:

Sorry no pitchers  :nono: . That said new hood is on . Had trouble with the shaker . Mine came off a 383 Cuda and is now on a 440 Challenger . The ADM after market hood fit perfectly  :clapping: :clapping: . But the bubble was way to high .I had a tall intake which I changed to the lowest one Edelbrock makes . Still too high , hood would close but didn't look right . SO as much as I hated to I cut 1/2 inch out of the part that goes over the carb and 1/2 out of the front post then welded things back together  . Still a little high but way better and I am happy . I'll order paint and hood #'s tomorrow and should be done or almost done next week end . Things are looking really good . Can't wait to post finish pitchers .  :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Ordered paint today . 3 or 4 weeks .  :horse: Nothing good comes easy I guess . I took the 440 magnum emblems off my R/T hood and they fit like a glove to spite the fact I was told they wouldn't work . That saved $100.00 . I don't care how long it takes I love it and am glad I did it .
