1970 Plum crazy Challenger
The body is excellent, interior is very good. This is a great driver. It was running perfectly with a carb setup. Looking for more drivability, I have been working on converting to fuel injection, but now I need to sell. It needs the final fuel pump connections and electrical connections for the computer in order to run, but it’s right there. I’ve been converting to a ford 5.0 mass air system. All the sensors, wiring and computer are ford. The rest is for a mopar engine. The headers have o2 bungs welded in. I had custom machining to get the the ford distributor to fit into the existing block, but if you take all that out, you can put it right back to carburetor run. From what I understand, this was a /6 grandma car, originally in Tennessee, and was purchased and brought to Alabama.  The car is now in Ridge, NY  - 11961 It would need to be trailered. $25,000 or best decent offer.  Email seppyc@hotmail.com or call 631-838-8211 – leave a message if I don’t pick up.
This is what it has:
340 small block with a mild cam (no specs on the cam, bought it that way)
4 speed with pistol grip shifter
Brand new “hot wheels” rims and tires
Alter K tion front end with wilwood disc brakes
Complete rewire of the harness with an American autowire system
Ford MAF wiring harness, computers, etc. all new sensors
Edelbrock intake manifold for efi, with rails, and edelbrock intake elbow
New radiator, slim to be used with electric fan
Used electric fan from 3.8 taurus (the hot rodders electric fan)
Powermaster hi output alternator
Rebuilt rear drum brakes, all new internals
New classic industries gauges 3-3/8” fit into rallye dash holes
Headlight conversion with proper relays for power
Kenwood KDC-X591
I have sway bars, but not installed

All components not installed for fuel injection are yours, as well as all components taken out of the stock vehicle. I have new plugs and wires, and so much more.  I will also give you my binder with all the ford 5.0 conversion information, wiring diagrams and overall car bible.

Nice looking car but you should try and get it running if you're that close. It will be a much easier sell. I wish I didn't have 2 projects already or I'd be interested.

Hi There

Does this car have seatbets for it?  if so can you send me a pic of them?  russ@rhwerkheiser.com  I think you might have a rare seatbelt option.

Thanks
Russ

NO, it didn't come with seatbelts, I bought them from year one, I believe, and put them in myself. The only thing it had were these tabs on the headliner that you would hang the long end of the belt.

im not talking about the tabs on the headliner.  Look at the bottom of the rear seat...there are clips there.  They are part of a rare seatbelt package.  I have it on my car...I have nver seen them anywhere else.  is there a red seatbelt light on the dash over by the glove box?  It goes right next to where the 4 speed reverse light is.

I gotcha. I'll have to take a look. I don't remember the seatbelt light off-hand.
