sending unit filter question
« on: April 18, 2011 - 03:44:19 PM »
A filter for my sending unit just arrived. My car didn`t have one on it my question is when you push it on the sending unit do you push it on all the way or leave it back a little from the end? If I push it on all the way will it bottom out against the plastic end of the filter and block the fuel supply?

I had the same thoughts as you when I put my filter on. I put mine on and left a little space from the end. I'll bet that's wrong.   :bricks1:

Thaks Mek, I guess the old saying If this is wrong I don`t want to be right applies here!

I doubt it would block it off all the way on but I would leave it back a little
