Turn Signal Cam - Made in Taiwan

Part Number     Qty Description
--------------- --- --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BH330             1 Turn signal cancel cam for 1970-1974 Chrysler models without tilt wheel or corne

Warning to those grabbing this guy:  expect some modifications for it to work.

Forgiving the smaller wiring than the stock one had, I also immediately noticed the plastic is far more pliable than the original.  Perhaps it's an age thing, but the "click" form using the turn signal is gone with this new cam.  Amazing how I miss such a stupid detail, but the Taiwanese cam is more of a swoosh/clump sound if anything--it's mostly silent.

The two wires on the underside that make the electrical connections to the turn signal switch as you move the turn signal arm need to be clipped--approximately 1/16" each for them to fit in the existing turn signal switch.

Lastly, if coupling with the original turn signal switch, you'll need mold the plastic hook on the original turn signal switch to make the turn signal arm locking action work properly.  The problem is the hooks from the Taiwanese turn signal canceling cam and the original turn signal switch don't quite match up.  The original turn signal switch hooks need to be shortened 1/16" on the inside of the hook and extended 1/16" on the outside--effectively moving the hook 1/16" closer to the turn signal canceling cam.

In order to achieve this last task, I used a flat blade of my soldering gun and melted plastic from the original (broken) turn signal cancelling cam and used it to mold the hooks on the original turn signal switch.  It's a bit tedious, and the melted plastic bites you in the nostrils, but it worked.

C'est la vie!
