Picture of ebrake cable routing from firewall to rear
« on: May 08, 2011 - 01:34:01 PM »
Anyone have a picture of how the e-brake cable routes after the firewall to the cross member? I'm guessing that where that section of the cable ends.  Looking to see how it ran underneath the floor or through the rails.

If it's for the car in your sig pic, then you will have an intermediate cable.  1970's didn't have one.

The front cable comes off the mechanism, through the floor(the grommet is on the inside of the car) then it wraps around and goes through a hole in the front wheelwell area.  From there it goes into the torsion bar X-member and clips into a hole on the back side of the X-member.
