Media blasting suspension parts

I am going to media blast control arms and spindles soon, and was wondering if there are any areas that i should avoid direct contact. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I protected the spindle`s bearing sufaces. I guess it also depends on the kind of media you use.
