haha yea...  :icon16:   but it sure does work...  this technique closes up the poreus surface of the aluminum and will keep the wheels shiny without further treatment for a very long time.  :2thumbs:  I don`t have a clue what it`s called in english but it`s done pretty much overhere.  Not the cheapest treatment though...

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.
