I've always been partial to the factory road wheels.(magnum 500 style)  I don't believe they were available in a 15" in 1970 though.  Still... an older set of the chrome road wheels in a 15" would look awsome against FM3.

Sorry no pics the ex burn them but I had Cragar SS on my AAR back in the day. I had G60s up front anf N50s on the rear with air shocks. Looked so good I have Cragar SS on my 72 Cuda now. I have 15"x8" with a 5" BS 235x60s front 275x60s in the rear. The magum rims were for Dodge not Plymouths.

When you say road wheels , cragers etc  I,m looking for something more full rather than  a 5 spoke rim  (i Think)

Depends on how "stock" you want it to look.  I have a set of the cop wheels with dog dish and trim rings.  I call them the poor man's rally wheels.  I also have a set of "General Lee" Vector turbine wheels that I think look good.  I liked the look of a set of Keystone Klassics I had on one of my other Challengers years ago.  But if you are going with an AAR, I agree with Brad's70 that the Minilites look best.

But I think I know what you're looking for.  The Centerlines, Drag lites etc. have the drag racing look to them.  I'm personally not a fan, but if you go with skinnies up front and deep and wide in the back it wouldn't look bad.
Yes I own a 1972 Dodge Challenger Convertible T/A S/E with a 440 Six Pak. Can it get any more wrong?
