vinyl top glue removal
« on: June 01, 2011 - 12:24:04 PM »
Is there anything special I need to use to remove some vinyl top glue from the paint?  The vinyl top was left long down at the bottom of the A-pillars.  I trimmed the vinyl but now have a heavy build-up of yellow glue.  I tried a cheap adhesive remover I had but it didn't seem to touch it.  What can I use that won't hurt the paint?  Thanks

I picked up some stuff at Auto Zone when I pulled the vinyl off my Cuda. I used that and a plastic razor blade and it was time consuming, but it worked.

2006 Honda Civic Hybrid (It doesn't save gas, it just diverts it to the Cuda/Challenger)
