I have a 1970 R/T which is all original, numbers matching and just received a new Plum Crazy coat of paint. On one hand, when I drive it, it's more noisy in the pass compartment than I'd like, but everyone says to stick with the exhaust because it sounds great (which it does). On the other hand, it's obviously not a daily driver, so is it worth it to go to the expense of sound deadening.
I realize that there are folks out there who just like to listen to the exhaust, but that just not me.
My question is about putting down DynaMat (I'm not considering any other sound deadening material because I find DynaMat works best). My understanding is that once it's down, it's not coming back up. What is everyone's opinion about the car losing value due to adding DynaMat that I cannot remove?
