Good question! Were I had to beat mine with a hammer to fit around the torsion bar, starter, and steering box could use a touch up? I just painted it with header paint?

I whaled at a few places on mine to get it around my steering box. I was surprised how tough that coating is. I would use Hi-temp. paint, as Brad suggested. Or are you talking about scratches?

Eastwood said they have some coating that could be sprayed on?  I believe that there is no polished aluminum color though.  I may have that mixed up with another color.
