Hughes Whiplash cam anyone?
« on: August 08, 2011 - 07:44:48 AM »
You know how it is...always looking for a little more "fun" factor....

I am pretty happy with my 318s current setup as far as top end power.

Low end could be stronger.

Eventually when this motor needs redone, I may go with a stroker crate small block.

But until then, what to do?

I have a purple something cam right now in the car and it has a lopey/rough idle....and low vacuum...so I know its a top-end cam.

Whilst in the library this morning (not really the library) I was flipping thru ta Mopar Action mag....and came across an ad for the Hughes "Whiplash" cam series.

They claim its an awesome cam for low end torque and "true mopar sound".

Anyone try one of these?
