Changing interior color

I'm looking to change the interior color of my daughters Dart to black. I know I can paint the panels but can I paint the vinyl seats also. They are in good shape and seems a shame to have to buy new covers.  Thanks,  Matt

Changing the color of a highly used item like the front seats usually does not last long. I used a SEM product on everything but my seats. Turned out great. Black to blue.

I dyed my rear seat from white to black.  Lots of thin coats of spray, I think they turned out great.

Thanks for the advice guys, maybe just the rears then. I was looking at SEM or the paint Herb's is selling. Anyone use his?  Matt

There are a few guys over on Moparts that are using the Herb's paint.  A couple guys just got done with burnt orangle interiors on some 1970 Road Runners.  The Herb's paint seems to be very good stuff.

I refinished my black A-pillars and kick panels with SEM Landau Black and they turned out great.  I did use SEM's adhesion promoter first.

The paint I used on my old MONZA seats was pretty good, but I had to re-apply ever so often due to wear.

The new stuff may be better.
