I used TTI headers on my 340, I went with Magnaflow the rest of the way back. Bought it off Ebay for about $385 for the complete all stainless system(less tips). The kit was complete with all hangers and clamps and fit well. I'm not a professional exhaust mechanic and I got 'er done. Could have went with plain steel for less, but now it's done for a long, long time. Sounds good, too. You can hear it, but it's not too loud.

This is not the seller I got it from, but it's what I found quickly-

thanks Milkman. do you see any problem with this system mating up to a 360? I'm pulling my 340 and mothballing it for a fresh 360.

I'm not the final authority, but as far as I know, exhaust-wise there is no difference between a 340 and 360. There might be a difference in headers, if your 360 has something other than Mopar iron heads. That wouldn't affect what we are discussing here. The only drawback would be if you thought you needed 3" at some point. My guesss would be that you'd have to be over 500 hp before 2-1/2" became a stumbling block.

I am satisfied with my Magnaflow, if I had to do it over I would do the same thing.

One thing I did do, the kit directions said to do some welding and I'm not set up to weld stainless so I got extra clamps. 'Here', the local International big truck dealer has wide stainless steel band clamps in any size from 2-1/2" on up for only about $6 each, I got a couple more clamps from there and my system is 100% clamped-and all with band clamps so the pipes are not kinked or dented, if I ever want to take it off it should all slide apart.

cool. heard anything about the "pypes" products?

I think I may be the only member here that has used  PYPES, from what I see others doing they fit as good as most. You will have to fabricate a double curved piece of pipe from the collectors to the tranny cross-member area where the kit ends, same as other brands.   I can't say that the finish was show quality & it took some creative work to get hangers to fit in the stock locations. I think most folks just bolt up the included universal hangers but I didn't want to drill holes in the car.   I did not use their tips but someone here ordered a set & was pissed that the Pypes logo was etched in the stainless.
I have something on here with more details if your still interested.

With the Magnaflow I didn't have to fabricate a pipe to go from the x-pipe to the headers. They were included in the kit, just had to cut them to the right length.

I have TTI headers on my 440 and went with A pypes xpipe system, and fabbed up a side exit exhaust that dumps right in front of my rear tires.  I LOVE the sound of the pypes mufflers.  Very happy.  My old exhaust was magnaflo.   I actually like the pypes better, imo.

Which mufflers did you use and what diameter pipe?  Where did you mount the mufflers?

Street pro mufflers and mounted them in the factory location with a 90 degree dump.
