Trans am tag wanted
« on: February 19, 2011 - 02:51:23 PM »
My car has no tag.I do have the build sheet.Sure I could get one made,But it's just a 73 340 auto car.A long time ago I saw a real t/a tag for around 100 bucks.ya,again...I could have one made. And I might. But to me,It would be cool to have a real one in there just by itself.Of course I wouldn't try and pass it off as real.I'd just like to pay homage to my favorite Cuda and Challenger. Anyone know where I could find one? Or is this a dumb idea? R/T

Not a dumb idea.  Good luck finding one.  That will look trick with what you have done with the car.

I had one off the aar I once owned but it went with the car.  No fender tag, just the T/A tag.

Probably have to have one made.  I don't think Barry gives up any tags.  Not that I have seen.  But, he would be the one who would have one.  You might ask.

Yah, they aren't cheap when you find them as they were such limited production items.

An equally cool and easier to find one would be the silkscreened Plymouth, made in the USA tag. I think these got tagged on a lot of 80s era vehicles.
