I don`t know how to calculate from your american wire sizes to ours, but this size cable was adviced to me by a local batteryservice shop...  :dunno:   sure hope I got some good advice there, cables are already in and taped up...    Both + and - cables are double insulated neoprene, 35 mm2  in size. Can anyone here confirm this will be enough?   So dodj,  do you mean I should use a double ground? one to the front and one to the chassis near the battery?

My Optima Battery is in the Trunk on the Passenger Side.

Welding Cables were used.

The Negative is Grounded in the Trunk.

No Problems.

Engine Bay looks a lot Cleaner and more room to work with no Battery up front.

That is basically 2 gauge...if you don't have a high compression engine and the starter does not get too hot, I would think it will work.  The cheap kits are often smaller than that

The 440 should have around 10.5: 1 comp.  Not sure if I will use manifolds or headers, but with headers I will use a hightorque starter.
Lights ,wipers  :grinno: , horns, and a 4x25w radio is my electric gear  :biggrin:

Yes, that's what I mean. Same as what the factory did at the front. A #10awg (approximately 5 mm2) IMO would be sufficient.
