Proportioing valve saga continues - HELP

Bought a replacement valve from a junkyard because mine was leaking but couldn't get one of the lines to screw in.  Found another on eBay and fought with it for an hour or so, finally got it in.  No leaks - great but the fluid's not coming through to the rear brake line - arghhhhh.

This thing is killing me.  So, anyway to "unstop" the one I just installed?

Anyone replaced theirs with an aftermarket?  Mine has 5 lines - two from master cylinder, two going to brakes and one coming from under the power booster.  Which aftermarket will work?

Crack the line for the front brakes at the valve, slowly push the brake pedal down until you hear  it click, hold it there and tighten. This might help to re-centered the valve, and allow fluid to the rear brakes

I have often connected the front brakes direct with just a Tee & installed an adjustable Wilwood proportioning valve int he rear line but you lose the brake warning light this way , Wilwood does have a factory type adjustable prop valve also
