duster wiring
« on: April 26, 2002 - 07:02:18 PM »
??? guys i know yall are going to laugh because i know yall heard about turning on the lights and the radio coming on and putting the car in first and it going backwards, etc. well i put a ralley underdash wiring harness in my duster w/ rally dash and when i hooked up the harness in the motor well i turned the ignition on and the horn blows. funny huh! well the only thing i can think of is since the car is an original 318 car with standard dash and wiring then i need to put the right wiring harness in the motor part?  i could use some help if anybody knows how to solve the problem.  funny thing is all the lights work right from that part of the harness?  thanks mike in tn

thanks for the reply!  i was at the bristol drags today and talked to a guy at painless wiring and he said between the dash and engine harness there is a wire crossed. i just need to find the ignition to starter wire and switch them.  simple huh?  mike :-/
