Cuda dream yet to be realized...
« on: July 29, 2011 - 01:02:55 PM »
Hi, I'm Greg from the Cincy/Dayton, Ohio area.  Love this site!
I've had a dream since hi-skool (where I learned how to spell good) of owning a nice Cuda. I've been looking for 2.5 years now. It's a challenge to find a good one under 20k.

I was in hi-skool when the '70 came out. WOW! I've been a fan ever since. Now I'm looking for a Cuda that will grace the cruise-ins here. Not many around this area.

I'm glad to be a part of the site and look forward to making new friends. Thanks,   Greg

Hi Greg,

Welcome to the site. Yup, I too was in high skool in the 70's and loved all the muscle cars. I managed to snag a 73 Barracuda and have owned 4 since high school. Some folks here have owned dozens. Good luck with your quest. This is a good place to start looking and asking. Lots of experience and knowledge here plus just darn friendly Mopar loving people!!  :woo:

Welcome!  I graduated hi-school in 1965 and bought my first 'Cuda (1970) in Oct' 1969.  Now restoring my second '70 'Cuda.
Good luck with the hunt.  :2thumbs:
1970 Plymouth 'Cuda.  Matching numbers 440 U Code, 4 speed pistol grip, Rallye dash, AM 8 Track, Shaker hood, 15 inch rallye wheels, Dana 60 4.10, Super Track Pak.  One of 134 - 440 "U" coupes codes built in 1970 and one of 100 - 440 Super Track Paks built in 1970.

"usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

Welcome to the site, I grew up in the Dayton area. Got two brothers there one in Centerville and one in Kettering. Good luck with your search
