    Convert from non-Rallye to Rallye gauges

    What I haven't figured out is if the switch bezel side (I don't know the name of it, the one with the panel dimmer)  is different? Is it sufficient to buy a wood grain face and put on there? Or are there any other differences?

    Also, has anyone disassembled an Auto Meter gauge? I was thinking if it would be possible to use the internals of modern gauges and the face of the old gauges. I think the Auto Meter 1110 could be a candidate with correct sweep and it has the correct sweep for the voltmeter from left to right.

    the Switch plat is different ... the heater control panel is different as well

    The light bar is different too. Rally gauges have 4 lights instead of the standard 3.

    I can't answer your question about the Auto Meter swap.
