Price help?

Looks like a huge project. $5000 is too much. Maybe $3000 if you really want it but make sure you're ready for alot of hard body work it looks rusty. I'll bet it needs alot of sheet metal.

 :iagree:  Just from the putside it'll need front fenders.  (Does it come with the passenger side one?)  Is there rot on the front of the rear driver's quarter?  How are the floors and trunk?  What might initially look like a good deal could cost a ton in body work.

Also, what body parts are missing?  The $ for the missing parts adds up fast.  :2cents:  Unless you do a lot of the work yourself, $5k might be too much.

Is that a 318, 340 or 360?  WIld guess it's a 340 if it's the original engine.  What shape is it in?  Numbers match?  Check the VIN to see what the car ws originally.  It may not matter to you.

Numbers dfont matter and he's got a 318 with trance wants 2g for the shell. I can do rust removal and bondo myself it's engine building I don't know but want to learn. I still think 2 is high but I'm not the expert which is why I'm posting here. I'll see if I can get him to take more pictures and I'll post them here

Save your money.  You can buy an identical restored car cheaper than you can restore this one.  Prices are still coming down on the cars, but the cost of parts is not coming down.  Put those two things together and you can get upside down in a car now faster than ever.
