I know its late but am trying to find a room or maybe two rooms, in the Newark, Hebron, or Heath areas.

If you can't find anything in that area, consider staying west of Columbus where I stay.  It is only a half hour drive from the track and prices are very reasonable...less then $50 a night.  Staying in Heath would be ideal but prices are going to be a lot higher.  Let me know if you want some more info.  Your coming in from the west anyway.

thanks Burdar,  I will probably end up staying around there as there are no rooms anywhere else.  I not trying to be a sissy but we are probably taking my brothers ramcharger (with no roof) and it does get a little hot so i was hoping to save a little extra driving.

It would be nice to have a short drive to the track.  I'd love to go back to the hotel and take a shower before the cruise.  At the end of the day it's pretty uncomfortable.  That's the only downfall to staying a half hour away.

I'm at buckeye lake just minutes away from the track and think I have a extra room at super 8 for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night.
 I'll check and let you know if you are still interested in being closer to the track.
