What were the years for the Rapid Transit System? Scat Pack?
« on: August 10, 2011 - 10:22:14 AM »
Just curious were they from the late 60's to 1971?  I was just looking at a '72 Barracuda brochure and they mention RTS in the brochure.

What about the Scat Pack?  I think many think i was up to 1971 also but  I could swear I saw/have a pic with mention of the Scat Pack up to 1972 (Only the Rallye cars.)  :dunno:  I don't think there is any mention of Scat Pack in the '72 brochure though.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

"In 1971, the Charger Super Bee replaced the Coronet version, and the 340 Demon was added to the list; that was the last year of the promotion."

Yeah looks like 71 was the last year. Cool article
