Is a 60 amp alternator a good choice?
« on: August 08, 2011 - 02:45:12 AM »
I am looking at a new alternator for my 71 'Cuda.  I will have a stereo but not a real powerful one.  Maybe 100 watts or less total power.   I do want to install a Vintage Air air conditioning system at some point in the future.   I have original wiring throughout the car.   Will 60 amps be enough?

Thanks,

.,

A/C doesn't any significant electrical power , the factory a/c cars had a a 60 amp , usually you can get a 70 amp that looks stock but that should be lots .
