I went. It was friggin HOT! Temp under my canopy in the shade was 101 most the day. Sold a bunch of stuff, didn't buy anything. however, my spot next to the staging lanes allowed to view a large percentage of cars as they came by. It actually was kinda cool see the variety of Fords and Chevys there for the foot brake races.
I held out high hopes that the later date and combination of events would make this a larger and more enjoyable experience than previous Mopars @Thunder Mtn meets. Well, it was certainly larger, but I think the Bandimere dis-organization was even higher. Swap meet was spread out all over the upper and lower ends of the starting line racer pits were intermixed with swap meet vendors, show participation was underestimated. Wow, really? They had 3 extra months to plan and they still boogered it up? I find it hard to beleive a facility that can put on a 5 day NHRA travelling road show and two days of Super Chevy has trouble pulling off one day of Mopar stuff. I guess I just don't get it.
