70 challenger trans options???

I have a 70 challenger that we r restoring. Originally a 383 car. Converting to new hemi and 5 speed autostick that I purchased out of challenger with 800 miles. Anyone have any experience with this trans?? Guy restoring my car says he does not think he can use trans secondary to the trans computer and the rear end

You can use it but you need to use all the sensors that were in the car and rear end speed sensors .etc  you need to open up the floor and most likely it will be into the transmission cross member.  Street and performance and hot wire (squire) can make harnesses.  I was going to use that tranny on my build but it was to much of a pain and I went manual
