Torsion Bars
« on: August 31, 2011 - 12:37:39 PM »
Was under my car last week when I noticed that the torsion bars are not positioned the same.  One is in the cross member all the way to the clip, the other is forward approx 1/4".  Is this normal or ok?  Or should they be all the way up to the clip?  That would put them away from the front of the LCA though?  Any thoughts?  Thanks.

It looks like the clip is doing its job.  I'm sure the bars move around slightly.  I wouldn't worry about it.

it will be fine as is . if you are bored you remove all the weight off the bar by jacking up the car , loosen the adjuster bolt & drive the T bar forward
