Valve cover breather / pcv

This is probably a stupid question or two..


1. On my current valve covers there is one breather on one side(passenger) ,and a PCV plug with a hose on the other(driver)..
I've bought 2 Edelbrock chrome valve covers + 2 edelbrock breathers with hose outlets and 1 noname PCV plug with hose outlet, just in case..

- Can I use breathers on both valve covers or does the current PCV side need to be a PCV outlet.




2. I have the 3*2 carb setup and the MIDDLE CARB does not have that hose connection on top that I've seen connected to valve cover breathers on many setups.
I've bought a MIDDLE CARB housing that has that hose connection on top.

- Is there any laws against me having one breather on each valve cover and connecting the hoses to the two MIDDLE CARB connections at random, or does one of the carb connects have to be connected to a PCV..?

it will work BEST with a breather on one side & the PCV valve on the other , the purpose is to burn off the crankcase fumes & reduce pressure in the crankcase
the bowl vent tube on the top of the middle carb is just a breather for emissions no need to have it
