Hi Daytona, I just love your screen name! thank you for all your help! if this is all there is that is fine, I am content knowing his car is being taken care of and by the looks of it, I can see that it is! I have to tell you this, when the car was sold, I came home one day to find a message on my answering machine by a man named Ari. he asked if I was Sue, Phil's fiance and asked for me to give him a call back. When I did he told me everything that went down with the sale of Phil's car to him by his uncle. The man called Phil's uncle a few choice words and told me that he would have sued Phil's uncle for not completing the deal that was made but he didn't because of the condition of Phil's dad. He told me that his uncle promised him the tags and title with the sale but his uncle never came through, he didn't even have the vin number...I looked up to the sky and said thanks Phil, now I understand WHY you did what you did. At the time I did not have the info. on the car...but what I did have was the restoration pictures. The money that Phil had in his car was incredible! anyone that bought it would have gotten every penny of their moneys worth. When Phil did something for him, he used only the best and only bought parts from the best places all over the world. Each nut and bolt on that car is solid brass. The paint work is done in candy and pearls and the gold is all 18 karat gold leaf, it took him 1 year to paint that car. Phil never spared a penny he only bought the best! Ari finally gave up trying to get some paperwork on the car and decided to sell it at the Potter car show in the Borgota. At the time I did not have the title to the car and the tags were hidden. Well sometime after the sale of the car at the Borgota something very incredible happened. As I said before I don't know how many of you believe but what came next was incredible!!! and that is how I ended up with the title for the car...Daytona, believe because it is so REAL! and might I also add this in, when Matt purchased the car and went to motor vehicle to register and inspect the Daytona, the registration number came back 1010 and the inspection was stamped 11 (the month of Phil's birth) after over 2 years of Matt giving offers to this guy to buy Phil's car, it came right the right moment!!! Thank you again for all your help!!!!
