Only watched a little bit of the auction on the first day, didn't really see anything that caught my eye :\.

so....Im guessing the seller paid a lot less than his $100k sale price (plus $10k commission) only a month or two before the auction.
Hate to see that happen to the guy who put all the effort, $, vision, and more $ into the car. The same thing has happened to me, more than once on real estate deals. It hurts.

The guy who sold it at auction did take quite a risk.  The auction was a no reserve so the car could have sold much lower and then he'd be out money.  Yeah it's not the same as all the effort, and vision that was put into the car, but the guy also didn't get the sense of accomplishment from completing parts of the restoration, and didn't get to drive it for very long

Did anyone see the 70 R/T Challenger, gold , on Friday. I was shocked to see it go so cheap! I can't remember the exact # but I think it was like 20k !

My dad and I were there Friday and Saturday. I don't really have anything to contribute to the conversation, it was just my first car auction and I had a lot of fun and wanted to share. 


I'm really glad I got to check out your car in person before you sold it, cudajoe. She was amazing. Congrats on the 6-figure sale.
