Brake light switch wires

Hello All

I am going to install my brake light switch. I know there are 2 wires that connect to it. Do the wires come off the dash harness. I took a quick glance yesterday, but didn't see them. I am going to look closer tonight, but I don't want to be looking for the wires in the wrong place. When I do find them, does it matter which wire goes where on the brake switch?

It doesn't matter which wire goes where.  One wire is pink and the other is white.  They come right out of the main dash harness.
