Broken seat spring.
« on: October 02, 2011 - 11:25:44 AM »
Getting ready to alkaline dip, powder coat and re-cover my seat but notice a broken spring on the bottom of the seat. Will a weld hold up on this section? what other options do I have? Is it better to weld after the seat spring has been dipped?

Thanks

I have welded them befor with no issues.  as for before or after dipping  :dunno:

As long as you clean the are well before welding you should be fine to do it before you dip the seat frames.
