71 Shaker hood stripped bolt
« on: October 04, 2011 - 02:06:39 PM »
One of the hinge bolt holes (Passenger front) on my hood is stripped, does anyone know if there is enough stock in there for a helicoil?

yes you should have enough bite for a helicoil , it is a 14" think dimpled plates so you will have 1/4 -3/8 " to bite
