Correct color/finish on radiator overflow mounting bracket
« on: October 07, 2011 - 11:24:21 PM »
Hey guys,

I just received a overflow bottle mounting bracket from Year One and it's come in a natural finish with quite a lot of surface rust. What is correct finish for this bracket, natural or painted? If painted I could fix it up, if not i'll probably need to ask them for another one.

Cheers!

The one's that I have seen have all been black. Not sure if it's correct or not.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

My 72 Charger was completely original when I got it and I remember it being semi gloss black.

I think black is correct.  They list the overflow bottle as being correct for 73 and 74 but I've never seen one on a 73.  I think it's 74 only.
