New member from Ohio.
« on: October 06, 2011 - 09:11:30 AM »
Well, since being "from Ohio", I invaded Michigan. I currently "occupy" a piece of land here. (It's a Buckeye thing) My first car, in high school, was a '73 Cuda. Needless to say, I let it go. It was in worse shape than I bought it in, and I gave it away. I have had to bare that burden for 30 years, always looking for a chance at redemption! Recently, my daughter Destiny (fitting name, here) for some reason, searched the internet for me and found a '74, nearly identical to my old one, without even having ever seen my old one. Unfortunately it had sold already, but the seller led me to a '73 that was identical to mine other than the stripes, wheels and transmission. The rest is history. It's mine! I replaced the wheels and stripes, but I am happier with the 4-speed vs. my old auto car. It runs fantastic and turns alot of heads, but will need some TLC. Looking forward to preserving this one! This site will be great in achieving that! Glad to come aboard!

Welcome and congrats on the preservation of an E-Body.
You have found a great site and a great bunch of people. I have been working towards getting my Challenger road worthy for years now and each day I move a little closer with the help of the members here.

Hey Tropicalcats! You might know where Bellevue is! (50 miles east of you) I'm in Bedford Township, now, just across the MI line from you.
Dutch, it has a '69 340 X-Head. It's stock now, but,....
