Is there any material on the sizes of screws and bolts needed?
« on: October 11, 2011 - 04:06:51 PM »
Is there anything out there that has a list of all the bolts and screws on a 73 challenger and has their sizes on their?  If not, maybe someone can answer this...what size screws do I need to put my roof rail weatherstrip retainers on, as well as the drip rail chrome?  Any info would help...I'd like to get that put on,but I dont wanna have to back and forth to the parts store trying out different sized screws

The ICCA fastener guide is a great resoarce.  It's a little pricey but well worth the cost.  You can buy one here...

http://www.iccahome.org/

Are you missing the correct screws or do you just need to know which ones are correct?(you have a tub full of screws you need to sort through)

The drip rail screws are unique.  They have a flat head on them.  I think I have a couple extra I can take a picture of.  If you don't want to buy the guide, just let me know what you need info on and I can look it up for you.

I'm not seeing them listed in the fastener guide.  I thought I saw them in there before though.  The drip rail takes these flat head screws.  There are only a few of them per side.  All they do is hold the drip rail trim before the weatherstripping retainer is installed.

The weatherstripping retainer is held on with round head philips screws.(chrome)  They have teeth on the bottom of them and are a larger size then the drip rail screws.
