Headlights...help

Alright, I'm hooking up the lights on my challenger resto.. just for some info, my dash lights work, glove light works, but my headlights wouldn't.  I checked if there was any power coming out of the plugs that plug into the headlight, with a light tester, and got nothing.  I know the headlights on my 73 are protected by a circuit breaker, not a fuse.  could that be bad? if so, is it on the fuse box under the dash? thanks for the help

A common problem is the headlamp dimmer switch & connector located on the drivers floor, easy to check and replacements are available at any parts store.
Not sure about a breaker, something may be built into the dash switch.

hmm never thought about that.  One thing i did notice was that the red light in the dash that tells you your highbeams are on, was always on, even when i pushed the switch with my foot.

Use your test light on the wires at the hi-beam/low-beam foot switch. One of those gets power to the headlights when you turn on the headlight switch.  The circuit breaker is built into the switch.  Your switch may be bad but you can test it on the bench.
