« on: October 14, 2011 - 09:29:46 AM »
Looks like a real car!  Video not in English but cool to watch!

Looks like this is by a different guy, in English, has lights!

Detailed interior, steering wheel moves when wheels turning.

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

That is so cool as to defy description.

Aside from its coolness, there's one thing I have to ask. Is that really 1/4 scale? It looks to be about 2 feet long, give or take. My Challenger is almost exactly 17 feet long, bumper guard to bumper guard, so I'm assuming that a B-body would be a little longer. That would mean that 1/4 scale would be 4-5 feet long.

Yeah, the scale does seem off doesn't it?  :dunno:  Doesn't look exactly 4-5 feet long.

Man, I'd love it if the body is available as a kit.  I'd buy it and do it up as a miniature of my 70 Roadrunner.  Hopefully the hood scoop is optional and I could fab up an airgrabber hood complete with shark decals, add a go wing and it would be ready to roll.  Too cool, thanks.

To bad he did not have a small V8 4 gear in it. Cool looking car! I just love big boy toys like that!

I saw somewhere that someone had a 1/6 scale Hemi engine that would be cool to put in it, but I think it was a static model, not an actual working V8.

If you want to see a working V8 in a cool RC car, check out this Shelby 427 Cobra:

About 20 years ago I read a piece about a guy who had made a 1/10 scale SBC that ran, on gasoline. the only part of the design that he had to change, according to the article, was the carburetor; it didn't want to atomize the fuel properly.
