Starter Solenoid
« on: February 13, 2005 - 06:30:24 AM »
:dontknow: I can't belive I am asking this, but I'm having some cranial flatulance and can't remember where all the wires off the starting solenoid go!

I moved the battery to the trunk & ran a 10ga wire from the positive along with the battery hot up to the original location of the starter solenoid. Seems like the wire from the battery is supposed to connect to the starter & a seperate 10ga wire up from the starter to the solenoid, but now I can't fricken remember

Can someone help me out?

Thanks - Johnny-D

Johnny,
If nobody responds first, I'll have a look at mine later for you. There are "+" wires that go to the starter and solenoid both. I believe what you are missing is a wire that runs from the starter relay to the solenoid. I'm just going from memory now, but I think I'm correct(maybe) :dontknow:

I neglected to mention that there is another wire that comes off the engine bay harness that goes to the relay also, so your probably right.
