I am new to this and wasnt sure which topic this is supposed to go in so i figured this one shouldnt hurt. How do you guys know what code means what? When i looked at the fender tags you guys post i see letters and numbers that looks random to me. Please teach me!! lol

Most times, the only "Codes" that most people know by heart are the rarest ones.
There is the "Bible" of coding and number crunching by Galen Govier. Google it..This is how 90% know the codes they know.

Hi Mulethras, you can also google "Mopar fender tag codes" and get a host of websites. Keep in mind that not all you see on the internet is correct but you'll definately get a good idea of what the code might be. Also keep in mind some of the codes may carry across different lines of cars; for B-bodies(Charger, Road Runner, etc..) or E-body (Challenger, Barracuda) or even C-Body (Fury, Newport), etc...
