undercoating without sandblasting
« on: November 06, 2011 - 10:21:44 AM »
I have decided that I want to go the truck bedliner route on the underside of my T/A. I have already spent many an hour stripping the old stuff off. The floors were pretty clean origionally and I was just considering using a rust nutralizer and then using the bedliner, without sandblasting the underside. I plan on blasting everything else, just wandering if this is going to be a problem. I feel that it is a waste of product and time blasting and then primering, only to use the bedliner. I have hundreds of hours into this thing and it looks like I will be blasting myself, which Im really not looking forward to. Anyone have any input on this?

An option to consider is spray Rust Bullitt on prior.
Don't do the POR-15. The Rust Bullitt is sandable.
