Ya the good days are coming to a close for sure. :'(  I drive mine till they salt the roads. We have had some amazing days here... must be a late Indian summer?

It's about 48 degrees here now, but they are calling for 32 tonight. So it won't be long.... :walkaway:

I really feel bad for those that have to put their cars away for the winter.

Here we can drive our cars year round, with no worries of salted roads, heavy snow, or freezing temperatures.

I hope it’s a short winter for all.

I put the power boat away about a week ago, both jetski's yesterday, pulled the pontoon boat out of the water 2 days ago, dock, boat hoist, jetski hoists all out of the water, closed the inground pool, blew out the sprinklers and now I can work on getting both cars ready for the long cold winter.  I'm going to move the convertible to my mom's garage and keep the hardtop here at my house for awhile to work on little stuff over the winter.  Here is a list of some of the stuff that needs attention:

dome light not working
electrical work under the dash
need the cig lighter to work for cell phone charging
new carpet needs installed
seats don't move forward and I had a car full not to long ago
dash need some help with some trim pieces that are loose
engine needs some finishing touches

Sure glad my garage is heated and can go from 30* to 70* in about 10 minutes.

Winter here in the desert is the best time to drive the classics,  although the 120degree summer days kinda suck lol.

I hoping to get out this weeked for one last drive.

I have not been out for over a month, maybe even two!!! :violin:

Afte this weekedm I think we will be done for the year.

On the bright side, puting the car up for the winter gives you time to do upgrades etc.

I look forward to driving in the winter.  Of course, the last time we got "good snow" here in Tucson was about 11 years ago, and even then it was melted by noon  :bananasmi

Some of the first rains are coming in off the coast today.
There's your forewarning that the cold wet Winter is starting to move in heading East.

Thanksgiving Snowbaording and Skiing again I predict.

I parked my Cuda about a month ago and hasn't been out of the garage since. On days days like this this i i wish i would have taken it out but untill my truck is done it simply won't happen.  Its almost time to start on pulling the engine anyways so i can repaint the firewall.
