They tried yellow on a limited basis a couple of years ago. Maybe they got a good response?    :jumping:

No engine upgrade?  The new Shelby Mustang GT500 is getting 650hp.  Challenger gets nice paint?  :clueless:

Could've used a bumble bee stripe on the Yellow Jacket Edition, IMO....
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

So Soon we forget, Chrysler LLC is being pimped out to any and everybody available. First Mercedes Benz had their way with them, and now Fiat.
No room for upgrades. I also think the Shelby Mustang is outsourced to Shelby American correct? For "Upgrades" to make that 650 HP Mark?

Wonder what the gas guzzler tax on 650 HP is?.....Hmmmmm.....MAybe Chrysler should send the SRT8 to Mr. Norm and have a mondo Supercharger installed so it too can become a supercar nobody can afford like the Shelby...

I think it's cool   :cooldancing:  I agree with Super Blue it needs the Bumble bee stripe, these new Challengers are anything but boring    :burnout:

I believe it's all done by SVT.

It is not subject to a gas guzzler tax.

Hate to say it, but  that shelby is actually relatively affordable. It was about $49k last year (not bad for a 200 mph car! if they can keep it anywhere close to there), and I heard it wont even have the gas guzzler tax. Is that possible?
I will never drive a ford again, and I dont want to be ex communicated here, but I think they got it right with this mustang. And it seems to keep getting better. If anything, its probably the first of the 3 new american muscle cars to deserve the title of supercar. 200 mph does it for me. When the Challenger can do that I'll put it in that category too.
Other than the 392, we've come up with nothing to try and keep up.
Oh...I forgot, the fiat abarth comes out today  :clapping:
another hot little girlie car is what we need

I think Ford gets away without the gas guzzler tax because the mods on the car are out-sourced and not considered factory installed. Gas guzzler only applies to factory built cars. I could be wrong on this.
